Andy and I finally managed to line up our diaries to get some ECW troops onto the table.
Andy brought the Irish and I brought Cromwell and his New Model English.
I went for a mostly mounted option, with four pistol armed horse on each flank and the foot in the centre. Andy went for more of a foot based army with mounted again in the flanks either an unreliable general on the right flank
Cromwell chose to defend and force the Irish to advance and the small mounted command went unreliable.
The English mounted took advantage of the unreliable Irish to advance hard on the flank and line up for a large flank charge.
End result was a big win to Cromwell
